From Beginners to Professionals
Kathryn began her experience as an endurance athlete as a child. From childhood through high school, she swam competitively. She began running competitively in middle school, competed at the collegiate level and still enjoys the occasional road race. Her triathlon career began after college and she continues to compete at the Sprint and Olympic distances.
As a Physical Therapist, she had the pleasure of working with Age-group athletes, Professional IronMan Triathletes and Professional Olympic length triathletes. Because of her personal experiences, Kathryn is able to understand the demands, challenges and determination that is required to compete from a young age and into adulthood. She has taken extensive continued education to bolster her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist degree, ensuring that she is up to date on the latest theories, manual techniques and approaches to treating this unique population.

As a professional triathlete, maintaining peak performance and staying healthy is crucial to my success. Working with Ryn has been a game-changer in keeping me not just 'up and running' but consistently improving. Ryn has a unique ability to address both immediate concerns and long-term goals. Whether it's helping me recover from an injury, improving my mobility, or fine-tuning my body mechanics, she always knows exactly what to do. I trust her methods to not only help me perform at my best but also to keep me doing what I love for years to come.
I had the pleasure of working with Dr Ryn Proctor on a number of different occasions. Dr. Proctor was not only helpful with treating injuries and niggles that popped up doing the course of my career, but she was also an essential part of my injury prevention team. Ryn earned my trust the first time we connected when she immediately started looking for the root cause of my issue rather than just treating the symptoms like so many did in the past. From then on, she became my go-to whenever anything popped up unexpectedly. I also worked a few times a month as training volumes started to ramp up to make sure we were staying ahead of any of the overuse injuries I’ve been plagued with throughout my career
